Coordinator – Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” leads the EURAXESS Internship Program for Refugee and Displaced Researchers in Europe in the frame of ERA Talent project financed by the European Commission and ensures financing for the refugee researchers within the project budget.
Researcher – any refugee researcher that applied for announced job offer and that his/her application was evaluated and ranked to be financed.
Organisation – any private or public non-academic organisation that applied to the program and posted a job offer to host a refugee researcher.
Member of the EDC - member of the Evaluation and Decision Committee (EDC) that evaluates the researchers’ applications.
By registering to take part in the EURAXESS Internship Program for Refugee and Displaced Researchers in Europe as a researcher, as an organisation or as a member of Evaluation and Decision Committee , herewith I declare that I understand and agree to respect the following principles:
Taking Part in the EURAXESS Internship Program for Refugee and Displaced Researchers in Europe:
I have voluntarily registered to the EURAXESS Internship Program for Refugee and Displaced Researchers in Europe and provided my consent to enter into the evaluation process/internship. I agree my application to be evaluated/ to evaluate researchers’ applications/my offer to be published and an applicant researcher to be assigned to it based on the criteria described in the website Sections Researchers/Organisations/Committee and the information I have provided in the registration/application forms.
Relationship
I agree to enter into the evaluation process/internship and evaluate researchers’ applications/conclude a hiring contract with a researcher/organisation that was allocated to me/assigned to me after the evaluation and ranking. I agree to follow the rules and terms of the program and the contract.
As a researcher I will accept the evaluation and the terms of the contract that I will conclude to enter in internship. I will respect the organisation rules and will fulfill the assigned tasks to my best abilities and efforts.
As a member of EDC I agree to evaluate the assigned to me researchers’ applications. I will follow through this process the evaluation criteria.
As an organisation I agree to hire the researcher that applied to and was ranked for my offer. I agree to assign relevant tasks, equipment and conditions to the researcher and support him/her through fulfilling them during the internship and to pay to the researcher the difference between the average monthly salary for my country that is provided by the program and the respective salary for this position in my organization.
I agree to identify, to inform the Coordinator and to attempt to solve any issues or challenges or conflicts that may arise during the evaluation process and/or internship but I understand that I can terminate my involvement at any time by contacting the Coordinator and according to the terms of the contract (if the internship started).
Confidentiality
I understand that confidentiality is critical to the registration/application/evaluation/organisation of the internship and to the participants in this process. Consequently, I agree to maintain the confidentiality of the personal information that we share. Furthermore, I understand that we all will uphold the same standard of confidentiality.
Time Commitment
I commit:
As a researcher – to these terms of use, to accept the evaluation, to conclude contract with the Coordinator and the organization, to enter in internship, to work on the assigned tasks by the organization.
As a member of EDC – to evaluate the assigned to me researchers’ applications following the evaluation criteria.
As an organisation - to hire the researcher that applied to and was ranked for my offer, to assign relevant tasks, equipment and conditions to the researcher, support him/her during his/her work for my organization, to pay to the researcher the difference between the average monthly salary for my country that is provided by the program and the respective salary for this position in my organization.
Feedback Commitment
I commit to provide a feedback to the Coordinator on:
- Initial test on level of knowledge, skills and expectations of the researchers according the requirements of the host organization,
- Progress of the internship at the middle of the duration,
- Fulfillment of the internship at the end of the contract.
by filling up and submitting an Evaluation Forms.
I understand and agree that the information provided by me in the Evaluation Form will be used only for the purpose of Evaluation of the Program by the Program Coordinator and no personal data will be shared, disclosed or processed in the process of the Program evaluation Program Coordinator.
